In partnership with Mayor, Strategic Materials adds 10 recycling locations in the city of Houston, Texas

President & CEO of Strategic Materials, Denis Suggs, along with the City of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner, announced their partnership in a glass recycling program for the city. Strategic Materials, headquartered in Houston, has more than a 100-year history in the industry and is the largest glass recycler in North America.
Over the next several weeks, ten “glass recycling zones” will be created throughout the city, where residents can conveniently drop-off their glass recyclables in large, industrial-sized collection containers.

- Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center - 2208 Washington Ave, accessible 24 hours
- Westbury Methodist Church, 5200 Willowbend Blvd, Houston, TX 77096

- Ellington Field, 246 Loop Road, Houston, TX 77034

Glass Materials Accepted:
We do not accept the following at any of the locations: ceramics like plates, mirrored glass, light bulbs, candle glass or tv/CRT glass.
No plate glass like old windows or glass furniture, unless this is dropped off directly at our plant.
